Once your physician has reached a diagnosis and a decision is made for surgery, we will coordinate with the hospital of your choice. If your choice is the Coliseum Regional Cardiac Center in Macon, Georgia, we have telecardiology capabilities, which would allow an effortless case sharing and admissions process. Now, you are on your way for the necessary surgery. In one seamless effort, you have all the services you need to achieve a healthy heart.
It doesn’t stop there…The Heart Center provides what is necessary to continue the healing process, right here in Dublin.
After your surgery, a team of physicians, nurses, exercise specialists, dieticians, pharmacists, occupational and physical therapists will ensure that you stay on the road to full heart health. Through education and one-on-one therapy, you become familiar with how your heart works and what it takes to keep in it in good condition. This education and therapy can include aerobics, weight training, cholesterol and weight management, smoking cessation, specialized diet, diabetes management and stress control. Our skilled professionals in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program will do whatever it takes to help you develop and maintain a healthy heart.
