Dublin, Ga. — Fairview Park Hospital is pleased to announce that it recently achieved the 2026 Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades. This recognition is given to the top 10% of hospitals nationwide for their commitment to safe, patient-centered care. Healthgrades analyzes data from Medicare to rate top-performing institutions across various criteria and categories, making the award based exclusively on patient outcomes. Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted complication and mortality rates from approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide to determine this year’s list of award winners.
“We are proud to earn this recognition and announce this achievement for 2026”, commented Brad Griffin, President and CEO of Fairview Park Hospital, FACHE. “This recognition highlights the teamwork, accountability, and clinical leadership of our caregivers, who are deeply committed to keeping our patients safe. Safe patient care is at the center of everything we do at Fairview Park Hospital. Our goal is to always help our patients heal in a safe environment that values patient/provider partnership. When patients are able to receive treatment close to home in a facility that values open communication between patient and care team, it is proven that patients recover faster, which gets them back home and to their day-to-day lives in the safest way possible.”
Fairview Park Hospital places an intentional emphasis on the quality of care delivered to its patients each day. Achievements such as these would be impossible without the dedication of its colleagues, clinical staff, and medical staff. HCA Healthcare also has a long history of advancing patient safety through collaboration with leading public and private institutions, including research initiatives like REDUCE MRSA, ABATE, Swap Out, CLUSTER and INSPIRE, that advance infection prevention and strengthen the safety and reliability of care for patients.
