Fairview Park Hospital will host a free seminar for those who may suffer from knee pain and have questions on how to treat and relieve their pain. The seminar will be led by Dr. Pat Hanson, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, who will discuss surgical and non-surgical treatment options.
"Knee pain is an issue that can affect patients of all ages," says Dr. Hanson. "Some of the signs and symptoms that accompany knee pain are locking of the knee, swelling or redness, difficulty bearing weight or walking, and limping due to discomfort." The seminar will focus on treatment options for knee and joint pain, whether due to an acute injury or a medical condition such as osteoarthritis.
